Miley Cyrus a 'weirdo', says her half-sister

Miley Cyrus's half-sister Brandi has described the "Wrecking ball" singer as "a weirdo".

Brandi has criticised those who make fun of her controversial sister and admitted that while she can be a bit weird, she's very down to earth, reports etonline.com.

"I don't know why people like to tear others down to make themselves feel better. I don't know what it is but, yes, Miley is a huge personality. She's a weirdo, but she's so normal," she said.

Brandi -- who also has siblings Noah, 15, Trace, 26, Braison, 21, and Christopher, 23 -- revealed she was often teased about her family as a youngster, as other children used to make fun of her "Achy Breaky Heart" singer dad Billy Ray Cyrus.

 

Asked about the biggest misconception about the family, she revealed: "For some reason, people love to hate a Cyrus. I don't know what it is, but I remember when I was a kid, and my dad was at the height of his success, all people wanted to do was make fun of me for it.

"I was like, 'Wait a minute. My dad is the biggest star on the planet and you want to make fun of me? As I'm older now, I look back on that and that's just so insane," she added.
