Minor girl raped in Delhi, neighbour held

A five-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour here on the pretext of playing a game with her, police said Monday. The accused has been arrested.

The incident took place in Kalyanpuri area of east Delhi Sunday night.

Accused Amit Kumar took the girl to a secluded place on the pretext of playing a game and then raped her, police said.

He was caught by neighbours when the girl somehow managed to reach her house and informed her family members.

The neighbours beat up the accused before handing him over to police.
