Mitsubishi Corp CEO calls on Modi

Japanese conglomerate Mitsubishi Corporation's president and CEO Ken Kobayashi Tuesday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi, an official statement said here.

"He gave an overview of the activities of Mitsubishi Corporation in India," the statement said.

Reports had said the company intended to discuss mega investment plans with the prime minister.

Mitsubishi is present in automobile, electrical and electronic equipment and heavy industries in India.
