Modi greets Italy on Republic Day
Prime Minister Narendra Modi wished the people of Italy on the occasion of their Republic Day on Tuesday.
"On their Republic Day, my warm greetings and felicitations to the people of Italy," Modi said in a message.
On June 2, 1946,after the end of the World War II, Italians voted against monarchy, favouring a republic.
