Modi greets Kazakh president on birthday

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday wished Kazakhstan President Nursultan Nazarbayev on his 75th birthday, on the eve of his visit to the Central Asian country.

"Wishing President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan on his 75th birthday. I pray for his long life & good health," tweeted Modi, who is in Tashkent.

Modi flies on Tuesday to Almaty for talks with Nazarbayev. He is on a tour of the Central Asian republics.
