Modi greets nation on Mahalaya
Prime Minister Narendra Modi Tuesday wished the nation "joy, peace and prosperity" on the occasion of Mahalaya, that marks the beginning of 'Durga puja'.
"Shubho Mahalaya! May this festive season enhance the spirit of joy, peace and prosperity in our lives," Modi said in a tweet.
