Modi releases Sardar Patel's biography in Braille

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Wednesday released a biography of independent India's first home minister Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel in Braille, an official statement said.

The biography, prepared by ophthalmologist A. Saibaba Goud, is aimed at benefiting the visually challenged.

Goud also runs the Devnar School for the Blind in Hyderabad, the statement added.
