More doctors added to Sarabjit's medical board

Three more doctors were added Thursday to a three-member medical board that will perform the postmortem Indian death row prisoner Sarabjit Singh, a media report said.

The three new doctors are Medical Superintendent of Mian Mansha Hospital Ameer, District Health Officer (Lahore) Muhammad Saeed Akhtar and Punjab medico-legal officer Umer Farooq Baloch, Geo News quoted sources as saying.

It did not name the original members of the medical board.

Sarabjit Singh died Thursday in Jinnah Hospital where he was undergoing treatment after he was brutally attacked in Kot Lakhpat jail by fellow prisoners.
