Airline major Jet Airways on Tuesday said that it has reported a 'tail-scrape' incident upon landing of its Mumbai-to-Dhaka flight operated on January 23, 2017 to regulatory authorities.
"Jet Airways flight 9W 276 of January 22, 2017, from Mumbai to Dhaka with eight crew and 160 guests, had a tail-scrape on landing," a Jet Airways spokesperson was quoted as saying in a statement.
"There were no injuries to guests or crew, all of whom deplaned safely and have since proceeded onwards to their final destinations."
According to the airline, the aircraft -- Boeing 737-800 -- is currently being inspected by its engineering team at Dhaka.

"The event has been reported to the regulatory authorities and is being investigated," the statement said.
"Jet Airways continues to offer all cooperation to support the investigation. As a standard practice, the crew of the flight has been placed off roster in order to assist with the investigation."
