National Fertilizers posts lower net

Government-owned National Fertilizer Ltd on Thursday said it closed the second quarter with a lower profit at Rs.54.10 crore.

In a regulatory filing with BSE, the company said it had posted a net profit of Rs.54.10 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2015 as against Rs.61.75 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2014.

During the period under review, the company had earned a total income of Rs.2,255.77 crore -- down from Rs.2,323.63 crore earned for the quarter ended September 30, 2014.
