Calling on people to end their indifference to corruption, Prime Minister Narendra Modi Tuesday said the malaise threatens to ruin the nation.

"This menace of corruption is so dangerous, it can destroy the nation. And I can see that the nation can't bear injustice any longer," Modi said at a public meeting in this Haryana town.

He said that people need to end indifference towards corruption.

"'Mera kya, mujhe kya' (how does it affect me, why should it bother me) attitude has ruined the nation. We need to free the nation from corruption," Modi stressed.
