After days of intensive talks, the UN Security Council five permanent members plus Germany and Iran, reached an agreement early Sunday morning, according to Michael Mann, spokesman of Catherine Ashton, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy who presented the P5+1 group during the talks.

The P5+1 groups comprises Britain, China, France, Russia, the United States and Germany, Xinhua reported.

No details of the agreement have been released as yet.

It is said that the two sides would sign the agreement later at the Palace of Nations, the headquarters of United Nations Office at Geneva. The agreement would break up the decade-long deadlock over Tehran's nuclear program.
