Nigerian held for visa fraud

A 33-year-old Nigerian has been arrested here while trying to extend his Indian visa with fake documents, police said on Friday.

Aiyudubie Osasere Joseph reportedly submitted documents of a company where he claimed to be employed, seeking extention of the visa. But police discovered no such company existed in the DLF Phase III area.

A court on Friday sent the accused to 14 days in judicial custody.
