Nine people were injured when an elevator in a multi-storeyed building here malfunctioned and slipped a floor Tuesday afternoon, an official said.
One of the lifts of New Delhi House building situated at Barakhamba Road slipped from the fourth floor to the third at around 2.50 p.m.
"The lift suddenly malfunctioned and slipped from the fourth floor to the third. Nine people received minor injuries in the incident. They were taken to Dr. Ram Manohar Lohia hospital from where they were discharged after first aid," said a fire department official.
