Notification for final phase of UP polls issued

The notification for the seventh and final phase of the Uttar Pradesh assembly elections was issued on Thursday.

Voting for the 40 seats will be held on March 8.

The constituencies are spread across seven districts. It includes Varanasi, which elected Prime Minister Narendra Modi to the Lok Sabha. The Uttar Pradesh polls begin on Saturday.
