Onir, Shekhar Kapur saddened by terror attack in Istanbul

Acclaimed Indian filmmakers Onir and Shekhar Kapur on Sunday expressed dismay and sorrow over the Istanbul nightclub terror attack, which claimed at least 39 lives and left 69 injured.
A gunman opened fire at people celebrating New Year at a nightclub in Istanbul early on Sunday.
Onir, a National Award winner known for "My Brother... Nikhil", "Bas Ek Pal" and "I AM", tweeted: "2017 starts with a terror attack in Istanbul. Prayers for the victims and love to all those who lost their dear ones. Deeply saddened".
Shekhar Kapur, best known for his award-winning films like "Masoom", "Mr. India", "Bandit Queen" and "Elizabeth", tweeted: "My heart goes out to the people and city of #Istanbul. Known for their beauty, history, art, architecture and sufi traditions."
No group has claimed responsibility for the massacre.
