Tricoloured and khadi products are a hit among online shoppers this Independence Day, according to data by leading e-retail major Flipkart.
Products with colours of the Indian National Flag have been selling like hot cakes and demand for Khadi kurtas has grown tremendously, read a statement from Flipkart, which claims to have 45 million registered customers.
The demand for items such as mobile case, laptop skins and T-shirts in the tricolour -- saffron, white and green -- is said to have grown over 60 percent since the last month.
Even patriotic movie DVDs such as - "Gandhi" (Collector's Edition), "Swades", "Lagaan" and "Rang De Basanti" have regained popularity.
The website is also offering a selection of over a thousand products by Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC).
Celebrating the spirit of Independence Day, shoppers can browse and shop from 'Made in India' range of products too.
