Pakistan releases 40 Indian prisoners

Pakistan has repatriated 40 Indian prisoners, including 35 fishermen from Gujarat, BSF officials said Sunday.
The prisoners were brought late Saturday to the Attari-Wagah checkpost here, 30 km from Amritsar, and handed over to the Border Security Force by their Pakistani counterparts.
The fishermen were arrested for entering Pakistani waters. Most of the prisoners had been in Pakistani prisons for over one year.
