Politician gunned down in Pakistan

A local leader of the Balochistan National Party (BNP) and his bodyguard were gunned down in Pakistan's Balochistan province Sunday.

Police said Attaullah Muhammadzai was killed after unidentified assailants opened fire indiscriminately at the car he was travelling in with his guard on Chakar Khan road in Khuzdar town, Dawn online reported.

The attackers managed to escape from the scene. Both victims succumbed to their injuries on way to hospital.
