President Pranab Mukherjee will Sunday visit Gurgaon to honour people living in an old age home and to inaugurate an international school, an official said Saturday.
Haryana Governor Kaptan Singh Solanki will be present during the events but Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was not likely to attend.
Mukherjee will visit Wazirpur village near Gurgaon to honour 96 elderly people living in an old age home run by NGO Bharat Seva Asharam Sangh.
He will also lay the foundation stone of the Pranavananda International School.
Khattar was supposed to attend but changed his schedule at the last moment.
"The programme will be attended by Governor Solanki. However, Chief Minister Khattar's plan was not confirmed till late evening. He may give it a miss," an administrative officer, who did not wish to be named, told IANS.
