President to visit Haryana varsity

President Pranab Mukherjee will visit Haryana's Mahendergarh district March 1. He will be the chief guest for the first convocation of the Central University of Haryana.

The president will inaugurate the new campus of the university and award degrees, Vice Chancellor Ranjit Singh told media persons in Mahendergarh, 340 km from here.

Established in 2009, the university was functioning from its temporary campus in Mahendergarh and shifted to its new campus in August 2013.
