Telugu actor Ram Pothineni, who turned 25 Wednesday, decided to spend the day with his family members here.
"He has been shooting with us for the last few weeks. He took couple of days off to spend time with his family and celebrate his birthday. He is likely to join us in a few days," a source from the film's unit told IANS.
Ram is shooting for the film with Venkatesh, Anjali and Shazahn Padamsee. The film is being directed by K. Vijaya Bhaskar, known for hit Telugu films such as "Manmadhudu" and "Malliswari".
Meanwhile, it is reported that the remake is titled "Garam Masala".
"There is no official confirmation yet. But, the name is likely to be used for the film," added the source.
Ram, known for hits such as "Ready" and "Kandireega", will be seen in a Telugu film with director "Hanu Raghavapudi" soon.
