Rs.81 crore seized in Tamil Nadu

A total of Rs.81.85 crore has been seized by the Election Commission and income tax department in Tamil Nadu as unaccounted money, the poll panel said on Wednesday.

It said all of this was unaccounted money. The commission said action was being taken on the seizures due to violation of the model of code of conduct enforced for the May 16 assembly elections.
