Distinguished scientist A.K. Mohanty, who is Director, Physics Group at the Bhabha Atomic Research Centre (BARC), took over as the Director of BARC here on Tuesday.
Mohanty, also the Director of Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics in Kolkata, took over his new assignment from K.N. Vyas, Chairman of the Atomic Energy Commission and Secretary, Department of Atomic Energy.
