Security beefed up in Tamil Nadu for R-Day

Security has been tightened across Tamil Nadu in view of the Republic Day celebrations on Tuesday, police said on Monday.

Around 15,000 police personnel and bomb squads have been deployed in Chennai alone. A strict vigil is being kept at railway stations with passengers' luggage being checked.
