Security forces arrest militant in Kashmir

Security forces on Sunday arrested a militant in south Kashmir's Pulwama district when he was trying to throw a hand grenade at the security forces.

Police said a militant, whose identity was being withheld, was arrested in Nowdal village of Tral tehsil in Pulwama district when he was trying to hurl a grenade at a security force party.

"One pistol and a hand grenade have been recovered from the possession of the militant," police said.
