Sharad Yadav to join Lalu's fast

Janata Dal-United president Sharad Yadav will join RJD chief Lalu Prasad's fast on July 26 here to protest against the non-release of the caste-based census data by the central government.

"Sharad Yadav will join my fast," Lalu Prasad told the media here on Friday. The former chief minister added that he had called a "Bihar bandh" on July 27 on the same issue.

He urged Dalits, members of the Other Backward Class and Muslims to unite against Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government.
