Three Russians drown off Goa while on boating trip

Three Russian tourists, all of them women, drowned while on a boating excursion in the sea off Goa.

Police have not identified the victims yet. The incident took place off Betul beach in South Goa, 50 km from Panaji.

A police official said the dead were on a dolphin sighting trip in a motor-powered boat, when the vessel capsized after encountering a large wave.
