Tripura Governor, CM condole Jayalalithaa's demise

Tripura Governor Tathagata Roy and Chief Minister Manik Sarkar condoled the death of Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J. Jayalalithaa.

In a condolence message, Sarkar said that it was an untimely and premature demise.

"I convey my condolences to the people of Tamil Nadu at this hour of shock and sorrow," he said.

A Raj Bhavan official said that Roy, who is now in Delhi, also mourned the demise of Jayalalithaa.
