Tunisia qualifies for Group I of Fed Cup

Tunis, April 21 (IANS) Tunisia's women team qualified for Group I of the Europe/Africa tennis Fed Cup after beating Lithuania 2-0 in Montenegro.

Ons Jabeur and Nour Abbes both recorded singles wins in their matches Saturday. Previously the Tunisian team defeated Estonia 2-1, Finland 2-1, Latvia 2-1 and Lithuania 2-0, reports Xinhua.

It is the second time Tunisia qualifies for Group 1 of the Fed Cup. The first time was in 1994.
