TVS Motor Company logs sales growth in September

Two- and three-wheeler-maker TVS Motor Company Ltd on Monday said it closed last month with 26 per cent sales growth as compared to volumes logged in September 2015.

In a statement here, the company said it clocked sales of 293.257 units (two-wheelers 287,449 units, three-wheeler 5,808 units) last month up from 232,744 units (two-wheelers 220,971 units, three-wheelers 11,773 units) sold in September 2015.

Due to supply chain disruptions, the company lost production of 25,000 units, the statement added.
