Two-year-old drowns in water tank

A two-year-old girl drowned in a water tank near her house here, police said Friday.

"Sana was playing near her house in Neb Sarai area of south Delhi Thursday evening when she drowned in the six feet water tank used to collect the water for construction of a house. A relative spotted her body," said a police officer.

A case of death by negligence has been registered.
