'Unused money in postal schemes will be utilized'

Huge amounts of "money lying unused in postal schemes" will be utilized especially for the welfare of senior citizens, Finance Minister Arun Jaitley said Thursday.

"A large number of money is lying unused in postal schemes... I propose to set up a committee to examine how this can be utilized," he said while presenting his maiden budget.

"The committee will give its report in December," he added.
