Warne congratulates Watson for Royals captaincy

Spin legend Shane Warne Tuesday congratulated former Australian teammate Shane Watson for being chosen the new captain of Indian Premier League (IPL) franchisee Rajasthan Royals.

The 32-year-old all-rounder was named the captain Monday.

"Congrats to Watto on becoming Captain of the Royals, good luck to you & the boys in #IPL 7," tweeted Warne.

Warne also shared a photograph along with the tweet where both he and Watson are wearing Royals jerseys.

Warne had led the Jaipur-based outfit to the IPL title in its inaugural edition in 2008.
