World T20: India-Pakistan match reduced to 18 overs a side

Following rain interruption, the World Twenty20 Group 2 match between India and Pakistan at the Eden Gardens here on Saturday was reduced to 18 overs a side.

With rain lashing the stadium just hours before the scheduled start, the original start time of 7:30 p. m. was pushed back by an hour.

The match will now be 18 overs a side with power play reduced to five overs from the maximum six overs.
