Letters: Calling it quits

Apropos the editorial "Time to go" (March 25), it is better to go when the going is good. People should ask why instead of why not. Sachin Tendulkar's contributions to Indian cricket are surely immense, and in view of his consistently fading form, which is natural because of the ageing process, the time has come for him to bid goodbye graciously.
