This refers to Abhishek Puri’s letter (“Google’s missing links”, January 12) on the Google phone, where he points out various flaws in the Google phone and says that Google’s app shop is very basic as compared to iPhone’s. Since I have not seen the Google phone, I cannot comment on it, but anyone who has followed Google and the phenomenal work it has done knows this will be remedied very shortly. With its virtually unlimited storage, for instance, Google changed the standards for email providers; its browser is so efficient, none compares with it; its Google Docs is forcing Microsoft to alter its way of business. To think Google will not improve its offering, and offer this free to those who have already bought the phone, is not right.
