Message for media

Minister of State (independent charge) for Petroleum and Natural Gas Dharmendra Pradhan was a speaker at the Business Standard Infrastructure Summit 2015, held last Thursday. He spoke, among other things, about his fears and apprehensions about talking to the media. He said that he had once refused to give "sound bytes" to a persistent TV reporter. "I told the TV journalist, 'If you are earning Rs 6 crore a year, aap patrakar nahi promoter ho'," he said, leaving the audience chuckling.
