Business Standard New Delhi

Cabinet Secretary K M Chandrashekhar has issued a circular to all senior secretaries to not rush to the media with any 100-day proclamations without first clearing the same with the PMO. Apparently, this was done after HRD Minister Kapil Sibal shook up the party with his 100-day plan to revolutionise the country’s education system. It’s another matter that it was the Prime Minister who first asked various ministers to set out their 100-day agendas.
