A Raja was eased out of office on Sunday but perhaps as a reflection of his reluctance to depart, the department of telecommunications’ website continued to list him as communications and IT minister as late as Thursday evening. The opening page of the site still bears a photograph of him with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and his name also figures in the contact list of senior officials.
