During the Liberhan debate, BJP president Rajnath Singh pointed out that Congress leader Jagdambika Pal was mentioned in the report as a karsevak (people who went to worship at the site on December 6, 1992).
When Singh said he welcomed “karsevak Jabdambika Pal”, someone in the Opposition Bench quipped, “Don’t call him karsevak, call him rahulsevak !” Pal, in his speech, had congratulated Rahul Gandhi for what he called his bold steps to help the youth and then ripped into the BJP for raking up the Ram mandir issue for electoral gains.
