'Thinking' banks

At a recent event in Mumbai, Reserve Bank of India Governor Raghuram Rajan was asked during a question-answer session after his speech if he would allow "unmanned" banking in the future. Much to the amusement of the audience, a surprised Rajan started asking questions.
"You mean banking by robots? You mean banking by androids? You mean branchless banking...," he asked. The person from the audience, who had asked Rajan the question, again insisted on using the word "unmanned". To which Rajan replied, "I am fine with any banking as long as it is 'thinking' banking." The audience had a hearty laugh.
