Poll panel sees marginal rise in allocation

The interim Budget has allocated the Election Commission Rs 69 crore, a marginal increase compared to the 2013-14 Budget allocation of Rs 65.6 crore. This year, the allocations take into account the expenses to be incurred for setting up an International Institute for Democratic Electoral Management.
