Era Infra Engineering Ltd (BSE script code: 530323 and Script ID: ERAINFRA), an integrated infrastructure development company with a pan India presence, has announced its Q4FY09 financial results for the quarter ended March 31, 2009.
For the quarter ended March 31, 2009, the company recorded revenues of Rs 952.58 crore, an increase of 52.40% from Rs 625.06 crore in the corresponding quarter last fiscal. EBIDTA stood at Rs 197.37 crore, an increase of 65.78% as compared to Rs 119.05 crore in Q4FY08. Net profit stood at Rs 107.62 crore, up by 192.75% from Rs 36.76 crore.
For the year ended March 2009, Era Infra Engineering’s revenue was at Rs. 2376.52 crore, up 62.28% from Rs. 1464.48 crore during the corresponding period last year. The EBIDTA stood at Rs 475.82 crore, registering an increase of 45.11% from Rs 327.89 crore. The company reported a Net Profit of Rs. 202.57 crore, up 66.90% as against Rs. 121.37 crore in the same period last year.

Highlights of the quarter
During the quarter the Construction & Contracts division of Era Infra received the following contracts:
- Rs. 223 crore from NTPC for the Mauda Super Thermal Power Project in Maharashtra.
- Rs. 88.79 crore from National Institute of Technology for Construction of Mega Hostel at NIT, Calicut
- Rs. 73.74 crore from PWD for the construction of 200 Bedded Hospital in Ashok Vihar, New Delhi
- Rs. 71.36 crore from Public Works Department (B&R), Govt. of Punjab for the construction of Guru Gobind Singh Medical College
- Rs. 67.56 crore from BHEL for the construction-related works at Bellary power station.
- Rs. 49.50 crore from BHEL for Civil, Architectural and Structural Works
During the quarter, US $1.9 million FCCBs were converted into 5,32,262 equity shares of face value of Rs. 2/- each at a conversion price of Rs. 158.60 per equity share.
