Mandhana Industries Limited, Mumbai based Textile and Apparel Manufacturing Company, announced today that it has entered into an exclusive license agreement with Being Human – The Salman Khan Foundation for designing, marketing and distributing Being Human Clothing Products. By virtue of this agreement, the Company shall have exclusive rights to promote and use the Being Human brand name worldwide for its Clothing Products for the next 9 years and 3 months with the Dabbang Star Salman Khan as the Brand Ambassador.
The company has agreed to pay license fees to the trust in order to use the brand name. Being Human – The Salman Khan Foundation is a charitable trust promoted by actor Salman Khan. The Trust alongside Mr. Khan has been promoting the brand Being Human across various product categories with a noble cause to work for the uplifting and betterment of the weaker sections of the Society.
The company plans to launch stand-alone stores in metros followed by 10 more stores in Tier I and Tier II cities. Thereafter they plan to target presence in MBOs and also appoint franchisees to ensure widespread promotion of the brand. In the 1st phase, Mandhana will be entering into Men’s casual wear segment and then follow it up with women and kids wear range.”
