1 killed, 18 injured as bus overturns

A minor was killed while nearly 18 others were injured as a private bus overturned in Dostpur area here today.

The incident occurred this morning when the private bus overturned in a bid to overtake a tempo near Loknathpur village, police said.

Shivam (6) was killed on the spot, and nearly 18 passengers were injured in the incident, of which six were referred to the district hospital, sources said.

Agitated over the incident locals torched the bus and staged dharna.
