Forest officials today caught a 10-foot-long python from a private tea estate at Bidirkadu, some 80 KMs from here.
Based on the complaints from the workers of the estate and villagers about the presence of pythons, some forest department officials rushed to the spot and found the python.
They managed to catch it and restored to nearby Venna forest, department sources said.
