Punjab government today transferred 11 police officers in the state with immediate effect.
One IPS officer and the 10 Punjab Police Services (PPS) officers have been transferred, an official spokesman said here.
The services of IPS Akhil Chourdhary has been placed at the disposal of Chief Director, Vigilance Bureau Punjab, the spokesman said.
Among the PPS officers shifted are Mohan Lal, Sukhpal Singh, Pardeep Malik, Amarjit Singh and Jagjit Singh Saroha.
