A 15-year-old boy was mowed down by a truck in Gokulpuri area of North-East Delhi, police said today.
Arun was killed in the incident around 11 pm yesterday.
"Arun and his friend Saurav were going to meet a friend. As they reached Brijpuri crossing, a truck hit them.
"Arun died on the spot while Saurav is being treated at GTB hospital," said a police official.
Although, the driver managed to flee the spot an angry mob vandalised the truck and set it on fire.
Two fire tenders were rushed to the spot to douse the flames.
No arrests have been made in the incident so far, police said.
