The authorities today cleared over 16 acres of government land of encroachment and arrested the illegal occupant in Nagrota belt of Jammu district.
The Revenue and Police authorities today removed encroachment from the state land measuring 132 kanals (over 16 acres) at Kot Jagir village in Nagrota belt of Jammu district, as per the ruling of the Supreme Court, officials said.
The encroacher was arrested and handed over to the police for further action, they added.
